After more than 17 years — it all started in April 2004 — I am no longer hosting the UltraVNC forum. To the users the only very visible recent change may have been that forum.ultravnc.net now forwards to forum.uvnc.com. The domain had been transferred already for some time and was under the full control of Rudi, but the DNS records were still pointing to my servers.
That’s no longer the case since a few days ago.
This also means my email addresses @ultravnc.{info,net} are no longer valid. But I haven’t been using those in some time, so not a big loss either way.
It’s been fun hosting such a forum with ups and downs over the years and including some near disasters, some of which could only be averted by having backups ready, but all good things must end.
