… as serious as the standoff in Georgia/South Ossetia is at the moment, as laughable the following quote:
As I have made clear, Russia’s ongoing actions raise serious questions about its intentions in Georgia and the region. In recent years, Russia has sought to integrate into the diplomatic, political, economic, and security structures of the 21st century. The United States has supported those efforts. Now Russia is putting its aspirations at risk by taking actions in Georgia that are inconsistent with the principles of those institutions.
(George W. Bush, quote from here)
By those institutions he probably doesn’t mean Gitmo? By the principles he probably doesn’t mean invasion of other countries, threatening them with “nucular weapons” (a well-known bushism) and so on? Let me guess, now that it comes in handy, international law suddenly has a meaning again to the US administration?! There is a term for this in English: hypocritical!

“Hypocritical” is being polite.
I’ve read anywhere that Bush has went to holidays on his farm – now! Maybe he needs some time off from his stupid speeches and ideas. Or maybe he needs more of them and on the ranch is the source of all Bush. Are you Bush??
